Volunteer Position: Smart Fit Girls Program Director

Role Overview:

The Smart Fit Girls Program Director is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring the delivery, expansion, and excellence of our programs, while upholding our values of empowerment, inclusivity, and integrity.

Excellence:

1. Strategic Alignment: Collaborate closely with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to align program delivery with organizational goals, ensuring a cohesive and streamlined approach.
2. Volunteer Management: Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and support of volunteer coaches, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively mentor and empower girls.
   1. Training Oversight: Supervise coaches’ completion of online training and facilitate background checks, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
   1. Regular Meetings: Conduct bi-weekly meetings with coaches to review program implementation, troubleshoot challenges, and serve as a point of contact for day-to-day inquiries.
   1. Administrative Support: Complete necessary paperwork for volunteers, such as internship evaluations, to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
3. Program Partnership Support: Provide comprehensive support to existing program partnerships and sites, fostering effective communication, logistical coordination, and technical assistance as needed.

Growth:

1. Site Expansion: Collaborate with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to identify and facilitate the initiation of new program sites, ensuring a thorough understanding of pricing, logistics, and resource requirements.
   1. Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical assistance throughout the startup process and beyond, ensuring new sites are set up for success.
   1. Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with potential and new program sites, conducting regular outreach and follow-ups to track progress and identify growth opportunities.

Logistics:

• Time Commitment: This volunteer position requires a commitment of 5-10 hours per week, including meetings, administrative tasks, and program support activities, to ensure efficient program operations.
